2013 New Challenge

Well I'm not much of a goal setter but I decided that this year I would challenge myself and enter some challenges other than at Scrapville so out of the comfort zone it is.

White With 1 (http://whitewith1.blogspot.com.au) was my first choice as I look at the blog heaps and always think how hard it would be to stick to just a couple of colours   - a huge challenge for me!

When the challenge was white and a colour palette of two (red & Aqua) this month I thought maybe  it would be a bit easier.... well it wasn't really but here  is my page.

I really just hit my scrap stash hard for this page apart from the piece of white cardstock and the aqua one that I cut to shape with my Memory Keepers Lucky 8 Eternal Heart punch.

My great nephew Malakai is having a wonderful time in this Fun ball at a water park.

I fussy cut the clouds and splattered watercolour paint to imitate the water colours to the side of the photo. Faux stitching and some odd buttons added a bit of  dimension.

The page was finished with some strips for the title, scalloped border and some bunting on the left side and a rough line drawn round the edge.
