Capture the moment - Scrapville sketch

Well here I am again on a roll with my posts this arvo.

This photo was taken recently when I went on Carer's Retreat - had a great time relaxing but got to do some craft as well which is always relaxing for me.

I had to have a good dig about in my scrap stash as I started with the patterned paper and then wanted to incorporate those colours and those of my top.... found very quickly that all reds, pinks and greens are  not the same.
Anyway I got  there and here's the result...please excuse my crooked photo.

I placed a shape, punched strip then sticker strip along the bottom (and sticker strip along the top) of the page.

The pink spot I used as a base for the lacy aqua square, a green strip was then added.
The large and small balloon were mounted top right along with a smaller circle sticker between them giving the illusion of more depth.
Then I added the pink matted photo to it.

Above the aqua doily I inked the pale blue flower thats been in my stash for a while and added others I'd made by quilling or with fabric.

These were finished off with some curly bling in black and silver

Top right I added more green strip the same as under the photo and rounded the wings of a butterfly to mount to it.

Finished off  with the title mid centre and the floral cameo butterfly at the bottom edge.

  1. Difficult colours to scrap Zan as it's so easy to clash them isn't it? I think you've nailed it though! Love your cluster! x
