This month's sketch for Scrapville seemed the obvious way to showcase this photo of my scrapping buddy Dawn and I taken at Scrapville last week.
Neither of us would say we are very photogenic but I managed to put a page together.
I used some green and purple paint to splatter onto the white card stock .
The floral and spotted papers are leftovers from monthly packs as are the wood clock, floral doiley under it and black lace.
The white organza flower is my first attempt at making this type of flower with organza, a brad and my new heat gun.
The green doily is an embossed and inked die cut and the title is acetate over tissue paper.
A coupel of different green papers matt the photo and a bit of journalling finishes the page off.
Wow Zan this layout looks great,I'm totally Lovin the splashes of paint
ReplyDeleteThanks Anita... has taken me ages to give paint splattering a decent go... with a lot of bad attempts in the meantime x
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun layout and the splashed paint makes it look really 'arty' some how.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun pair of "Ol Scrappin' girls!!" The colours on the white space are given a nice lift with your paint spattering.
ReplyDeleteWell done, thanks for playing!
Oh I love the fresh green in your LO Zan, love your layering of bits & what a fun photo...how lovely that you can scrap & chat in the store itself!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Zan!!! You are really getting into the groove and doing some amazing LO's. Love the paint splatters too xox
