Card Sketch Challenge, Dad Card

The card sketch challenge over at Scrapville this month looks like this...

Below is my interpretation of it.


I wanted to do a male card after doing a very girly page for the page sketch so I used a mask and walnut ink to put the background cogs on the white card stock.

A chocolate brown strip with a piece of distressed patterned paper were then placed down the middle of the card. 

The central embellishment is made up of a stamped image, chip cog, chip circle, chip flourish, some 'blinged' up silk leaves and a tied button embellishment.

Lots of walnut distress ink was used and medium alphas add the title and finish off the card.
